Build your first menu in Studio

Pick a template, swap in your prices and photos, and publish to a single screen.

Prerequisites
  • A MenuPi account (free-forever screen tier works)
  • A screen plus a Fire TV stick or similar player
What you will build
  • A 16:9 landscape menu board with 6 items, a hero image, and a price column.
  • A playlist that loops the board on one screen.
  • A working pair between the player device and the dashboard.
  1. 1

    Pick a template

From the dashboard go to Templates and filter by your cuisine. Click "Use template" on one that matches your aspect ratio. Studio opens with a forked copy.

  2. 2

    Swap copy + prices

Click any text widget to edit inline. Press Tab to jump to the next text field. Use ⌘D to duplicate a row when you need a seventh item.

  3. 3

    Replace the hero image

Drag your photo onto the existing image widget. Studio auto-fits and lets you crop. WebP and AVIF are encoded server-side; PNG and JPG go through unchanged.

  4. 4

    Apply your brand kit

Open Brand Kit in the right rail. Upload your logo and pick a primary brand color. Every widget that uses brand tokens updates instantly.

  5. 5

    Save + publish

Click Publish, create a new playlist named "Counter Boards", and set the scene duration to 12 seconds. Save.
