macOS: "“MenuPi Player” is damaged and can't be opened"?

The Mac build isn't notarized yet, so Gatekeeper shows that message. It's safe — move the app to Applications, then run this once in Terminal to clear the quarantine flag:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/MenuPi Player.app"

Then open MenuPi Player normally. Notarized builds are coming.

Prefer the terminal? Install the CLI with npm i -g @menupi/cli. TV apps are also on the Amazon Appstore (Fire TV) and — soon — Google Play, LG Content Store and Samsung Apps.
