Player installation

Fire TV / Android TV

1. Download the Fire TV or Android TV app (APK) from menupi.com/download.
2. Install it on the device: allow apps from unknown sources, then open the APK with a file manager (or use adb install).
3. Launch the app. A 6-character pair code appears. Enter it in the dashboard.

Windows, Mac, Linux

1. Download the installer from menupi.com/download: .exe for Windows, .dmg for Mac, .deb or AppImage for Linux.
2. Install and open MenuPi Player. It runs full screen.
3. Pair it with the on-screen 6-character code.

Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi OS (Bookworm or newer) with the desktop, on a Pi 3B+, 4 or 5. Download menupi-player-raspberrypi.tar.gz from menupi.com/download, unpack it on the Pi, run sudo ./install.sh and reboot. The Pi boots into the player and shows its pair code.
